About the Centre…
The Centre for Flying Culture is the initiative of Hendrik Väli.
Planes, closely passing his windows, have interrupted his conciousness from the haziest memories of childhood in the way many of us probably acknowledge it. The will to set focus on the phenomenon of flying in a broader sense grew out of building a multicopter with a friend in 2012. Instead of buying one off the shelf he was interested in the "Why?" and "How?" of everything involved.
Looking for answers and tracking other people’s and companies’ projects a certain—obscure and ascending—image began to occur. It depicted the future of flying culture. Although many industries have emerged and boomed on top of the breakthrough of the Wright brothers in Kitty Hawk, the relation between the individual and the flying object still felt disrupted.
Flying objects and vehicles of the future will bring about a whole new culture for mankind. The Centre for Flying Culture is dedicated to offering insights to people, companies, ideas, technologies, vehicles and services that will shape it. The space is the canvas. Welcome aboard!
